Anchorage Europe Credit Funding 1 will be collateralised primarily by corporate bonds and loans, and will be managed by Anchorage Capital Group, L.L.C.

Anchorage Capital Group, L.L.C. is a New York-based registered investment adviser founded in 2003. The firm manages private investment funds across the credit, special situations and illiquid investment markets of North America and Europe using an active long and short basis, with particular focus on defaulted and leveraged issuers.

Portfolio highlights: at least 30% of the portfolio must consist of senior secured loans, senior secured notes and eligible investments; up to 70% of the portfolio may consist of second-lien loans, unsecured loans, bonds, subordinated bonds and unsecured bonds.

The portfolio is expected to be approximately 37% ramped as of the closing date.
